He supervises prepress operations and is the systems manager for Lorraine Press in Salt Lake City, Utah. For the past several years, he has been working with the Agfa Apogee extreme workflow, creating and integrating ICC profiles into a color-accurate digital proofing system.

He has worked as a co-consultant with Taz Tally and Taz Tally Seminars on digital color proofing, pdf and extreme workflows, and ICC color management. He has also done work for Prentice Hall as a technical consultant.

Blayne has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Information Systems. He has worked as an instructor in the Graphic Arts Department at the Salt Lake Community College.
