Lorraine Press is continually raising its standards of excellence through its emphasis on research. From our in-house laboratory comes fundamental research that results in improvements which we apply to all areas of production.

We have two microscopes fitted with digital and analog cameras for capturing our findings. We also use low-angled light for quality control purposes. Documented findings are archived here for future reference.

The development of our research laboratory grew from our need to confirm the quality of incoming materials. We have explored various inks, plates, substrates, coatings, and other materials to find the best solutions for our workflow.

Through our gathered data, we have discovered materials and processes we feel that will give our customers the highest quality results. And we are always happy to customize recommendations for each project.
